I had 9 miles on my plan today and they looked a little something like this:
2 miles – easy pace; 6 miles @ marathon pace; 1 mile easy
I am aiming for a PR for my 1/2 marathon coming up in December — the Las Vegas Rock-n-Roll Marathon. What kind of PR you might ask? Well – 1:40:00 is my goal. This works out to be 7:51 pace per mile. My previous PR was a 1:44:37 at the Holualoa Tucson 1/2 Marathon in 2008.
Getting dressed – I’m of course decked out in my Brooks Running apparel and Pink Pure Cadence shoes.
